I’ve always sewn. Early dolly dresses made way for Issey Miyake grey flannel suits. Children’s costumes came and went, with diversions into craft along the way. Through globetrotting adventures and the identity changes of seeing my children grow, sewing has been a constant. The combination of colour, texture, form and problem solving inspires me. Now as my body matures it’s even more important to adapt my skills to make clothes that suit my style and shape. Enter the sloper, and a whole new phase. I hope you will join me in my sewing explorations! It’s always more fun to travel with friends.
